◎作編譯者簡介：
丹尼斯•佘爾門 Dennis Thurmond
丹尼斯•佘爾門，南加州大學桑頓音樂學院前鋼琴教學課程暨電子多媒體課程主任，也曾擔任波士頓柏克里音樂學院鋼琴課程與音樂合成系系主任，以及麻省理工學院高階視覺研究中心教師。他曾於荷蘭烏特列茲音樂院擔任夏季講座教師、並於德國弗萊堡音樂學院開設即興演奏大師班。

佘爾門教授除了是位古典及爵士鋼琴演奏家外，也是位鍵盤合成器專家。佘爾門教材著作包括由樂韻出版社出版的「太極式的即興演奏」、「佈爾格彌勒25首練習曲」、「蘭花小語」以及「樂之森林」系列等，他並參與Alfred Publishing出版的多套教材，包括擔任Music Thru MIDI系列教材的作曲家兼技術顧問、Jazz SophistiCat系列教材以及Improvisation at the
Piano: A Systemic Approach for the Classical Pianist系列教材的作曲家。

余爾門教授於紐約時受教於鋼琴家Adele Marcus以反Vasant Rai，近年常於亞洲、歐洲、以及美國各地巡迴演出。
