Every student wants to use the pedal! John Robert Poe has created 14 easy-to-play pieces that "require" the use of the damper pedal. Most pieces use only five-note positions with register changes indicated by octave signs. All except three pieces have the pedal held down throughout the entire piece, creating interesting effects. "Cockatoo's Nest" and "Lambs at Play" are Federation Festivals 2016-2020 selections. A Federation Festivals 2020-2024 selection.
