A group teaching book for students and teachers includes 2 Cds. A basic method for group teaching with over 70 pieces for class activities. 15 Trios and Quartets for concerts. Scales and arpeggios for grades. Separate Piano part. Two CDs have been added to help both the practice and performance and are a wonderful enhancement to this method. Each track is split to enable the pupil to hear all parts if the balance is centered, and all parts except the top the balance control is to the left, thus allowing the pupil to play along.

【作者簡介】

Trevor Wye，專業的長笛演奏家、長笛教師，同時他也是著名長笛演奏教材的作者，更是全球知名的長笛教育大師，國內教授一致推薦。Trevor Wye 於國際長笛界享有崇高地位，他是英國長笛協會之創辦人，並曾擔任英國蓋德霍爾音樂學校 (Guildhall School of Music)及曼徹斯特的皇家北方音樂學院 (Royal Northern College of Music)長笛教授達22年之久。1990年Trevor Wye獲得英國皇家北方音樂學院授予榮譽學位。此外，自1970年起Trevor Wye 於每年夏季期間親自開辦及教授之「Trevor Wye 國際夏季長笛課程」亦成為了每年一度國際長笛界最享負盛名的課程之一。該課程於英國肯特市 (Kent) 舉辦，每年均吸引超過百多位來自世界各地長笛好手參與。

　　作為一位世界知名之長笛演奏家及教育家，Trevor Wye 經常作世界性巡迴演奏及講學，並且獲邀擔任多項國際長笛比賽之評判，如瑞士洛桑國際長笛大賽、巴黎國家音樂學院長笛大賽及日本神戶國際長笛大賽等等。Trevor Wye 亦經常穿梭於世界各地之長笛音樂節，受邀主持長笛大師班及工作坊。Trevor Wye 之講學深受各地長笛人士愛載及敬仰。在著作方面，Trevor Wye 編寫超過數十本與長笛教學及練習有關之書籍，當中一套合共六本之長笛練習書，名為 "The Practice Book for Flute" 已成為長笛教學書籍中之典範。該套六卷的教材在全世界範圍內廣受稱讚，已被翻譯成十國語言，其內容涵蓋了長笛學習的各個方面：音色﹑技巧﹑發音﹑音調與顫音﹑呼吸與音階和高階練習（tone, technique, articulation, intonation and vibrato, breathing and scales, and advanced practice）．已有法、日、韓、德、葡等多種語言版本，成就超卓。
